The mini-stevne was held April 12th (Saturday) in the meeting room at West St. Paul Library (on Wentworth).
Hours were 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and there was a list of lunch places in the area of the library.
President Elaine Nordlie noted that the main purpose of the mini-stevne was

ex. baptisms, confirmations, weddings, & deaths). Assistance from our genealogists
and translators was available.
Services available included:
-there are 2 copying machines,
-there is one color copy machine,
-there are 12 internet stations with both color and black & white printers,
-copy charges are 15 cents per page,
-internet use is first come basis, the library also has free access to all Ancestory.com
database (including the paid ones and the U.S. census).
Anne Wagn was a special guest from Norway, along
with Svein Erik Odden. They spoke about Anne's new book at 11 a.m. Anne has
written a number of books on Norwegian emigration to America. She is active
in our sister organization in Norway, Telemark Historielag, and has been a long-time
friend of many Telelaget members. Anne offered a special stevne price on her
new book, $35.
