He was my g-g-uncle from Tinn, Telemark. He came to America with his wife Gro in the year 1841.
Gunnuf was born at farm Tveito in Tinn, Telemark, Norway in the year 1813. He married Gro Torgiersdatter Såheimsmogen. Here is where we have three brothers that marry three sisters. In 1841 the couple were pioneers at Muskego. In 1854 they moved to Ridgeway, Iowa (near Decorah). Both died in 1877 and are buried at Ridgeway.
