Tov was tenant at Kaase on the Bøen farm.  His father was Østein Olsen Blomhaugen and his mother was Gunhild Tovsdatter Såheim.  Astrid’s father was Kjetil Kjetilsen Gjøystdal. and her mother was Aagot Gunnulvsdatter Tveito.  Tov and Astrid came to America in 1860 and settled at Ridgeway, Iowa with her brothers Halvor and Gunder Kjetilsen.  Later they moved to Harmony, Minnesota, then on to Coulton in Minnehaha County, SD.  Tov became Tom and Østensen became Austinsen, then just plain Austin.  I have detailed information on this family and have walked the farm in Telemark.
